202 Hometown Tacos

The dream of owning a restaurant or bar stays a dream for many, but for this team, the dream is finally becoming a reality! Since working in a bar for the first time, co-owner David Caligiuri has wanted to own his own restaurant and bar. Dave needed some help in making it happen when fate put him in the path of his childhood friend, Marc Seiavitch, who is a commercial real estate advisor in Bellevue.

Both Dave and Marc have been impressed by the recent growth in the commercial district of Bellevue, a small borough just outside of Pittsburgh. All along Bellevue's main shopping district, Lincoln Avenue, new restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries are opening. But what is it that the people of Bellevue actually want? During a recent Bellevue Municipal Meeting, the question was answered—the people want tacos!

And tacos they will have! 202 Hometown Tacos, the first taco shop in Bellevue, will be opening in December 2018. With the property purchased, renovation plans approved by the city, and the menu testing started, the restaurant is ready for its final touches. Dave and Marc are raising money to purchase safety equipment, garage-style doors, barn doors, and gas ranges.
