Tazza d’Oro is a popular chain of coffee shops in Pittsburgh. They are borrowing money to build out a commercial kitchen that will provide fresh food to all of their locations. The loan is being borrowed by [Millvale LLC] operating in Millvale, PA under the Tazza d’Oro brand. They have sister shops in Highland Park and in the Gates Center at Carnegie Mellon University.
Tazza d’Oro is looking to build out a new kitchen location, located just a few blocks away from their Millvale espresso bar location. With this new kitchen, the Tazza D’Oro chefs will be able to prepare a wider variety of foods to supply each of their three locations with.
“Coffee loves food” which is why this is the perfect way to expand the Tazza d’Oro offerings beyond their amazing pastries and paninis.
Through extensive training and a professional certification program, skills and dedication to the craft of coffee and espresso, their baristi have placed Tazza d’Oro as being recognized as one of the best espresso bars in Pittsburgh.
They attribute much of their reputation and success to four key elements: Intense coffee and espresso training for their baristi, purchasing and carefully preparing some of the finest coffee available, sourcing over 80% of their food and milk from local, independent vendors and farms and lastly their amazing community of customers and community partners.
