The business has the remaining time on its offering campaign to raise its minimum or maximum goal. If a business successfully reaches its minimum funding goal, the offering is considered successful!

Share the offering with your network. Tell your friends about this opportunity to support a local entrepreneur and show them they can how to invest local.

  1. Go to the business's offering page

  2. Copy URL from the address bar

  3. Paste into your social media post, email, text, etc. such as: “I invested in Bob's Bakery because I want to support small businesses in my neighborhood! Check out the campaign: (add link)”​​

  4. Share it!

Questions

When will the funds be withdrawn from my account?

 

Your investment and transaction fee will automatically be withdrawn 1-2 business days after you invest and transferred to a secure escrow account. If the campaign is successful, the business then receives their funds and begins the repayment process.

What happens if the business does not meet its funding goal?

 

All investments and fees are returned to you approximately 5 business days after the campaign closes unsuccessfully.

 

Where can I view my investment and related documents?

 

You can find your investment in your Honeycomb Investment Portfolio! Navigate to your portfolio by clicking your name in the top right-hand corner of our Live Campaign page. From the dropdown on your account, select “Documents” to view and download a copy of your Investment Agreement.

Can I invest more?

 

Of course! You can make a second investment into one campaign, or check out other local businesses currently accepting investors on Honeycomb.

What if I need to cancel my investment?

 

You can cancel your investment up to 48 hours before the campaign closes. If you’d like to do so, please email support@honeycombcredit.com.
