It’s the most wonderful time of the year—November 30, 2019 is Small Business Saturday!


With the hustle and bustle leading up to Thanksgiving and Black Friday, we hope that you can spend this Small Business Saturday celebrating the locally owned businesses in your community and giving support to the entrepreneurs who built them up.


Here at Honeycomb, we're all about giving local businesses the love that they deserve, so we've put together the ultimate Cleveland shopping guide for you.


Check out these 7 businesses in the Cleveland area that are doing something special this Small Business Saturday!


Cleveland


1. Small Business, Small People Market at 2nd Semester Consignment Shop

Located in Wickliffe, 2nd Semester is an educational resale store owned and operated by local teachers. 2nd Semester is hosting a Small Business, Small People market from 11 am-4 pm for young school-aged entrepreneurs in the local Cleveland area to sell their products. All proceeds will be given to the young business owners!


2. Soirée at Home for the Holidays

Home for the Holidays is a holiday pop-up shop in Lakewood with a curated collection of 40+ artisan makers and small businesses. They’ll be hosting a special soirée for Small Business Saturday with scratch off discount cards up to 20% off, free canvas tote bags with goodies for every $50 purchase, and Naughty or Nice cider with Root 23 Simple Syrups. Give the gift of handcrafted goodness to your loved ones this holiday season.


3. In-store promotions at Elegance 4my Event

Elegance 4my Event is an event rentals & design business that offers linens, tables, chairs, centerpieces, and other accessories to create a spectacularly decorated event for you and your guests. This Small Business Saturday, Elegance 4my Event will be having a variety of in-store promotions at their Clark-Fulton location.


4. Small Business Saturday pop-up sale at Now That’s Class

Punk dive bar Now That’s Class is hosting a Black Friday & Small Business Saturday pop-up sale, presented by Black Market Records and Miss World Vintage. Saturday’s pop-up sale from 12 pm-6 pm features 19 independent vendors from Heavy Metal Flea Market, selling vintage, art, vinyl, apothecary, and other arcane goods. Photographer Sarah Coulter will also be making an appearance on both days of the market to shoot tintype portraits.


5. Holiday pop-ups at OR: the alternative

OR: the alternative is a woman-owned business that makes all-natural body care products handcrafted in small batches with minimally processed oils, butters, and essential oils. OR: the alternative will be hosting a series of pop-up shops with their retail partners through the holiday season, including a Holiday Special Snack, Drink + Relax event on 11/30 from 10 am-11:30 am.


6. Small Business Saturday at Westside Flea

Shop local at the last Westside Flea of the year at the Donauschwaben’s German-American Cultural Center from 9 am-3 pm! Browse through an eclectic blend of vendors: handmade jewelry, home decor, clothing, antiques, art, and more—all with live music, free balloon art, and a special appearance by the Gaelic Glen Alpacas.


Youngstown


1. 20% off winter merchandise at The Children’s Loft

The Children’s Loft is an upscale local children’s clothing boutique, featuring boys and girls clothing from newborn up to size fourteen and a large selection of accessories. They’re offering 20% off all winter merchandise this Small Business Saturday!
