Congratulations to our own Sophia Fang for being recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30!
Sophia is our head of marketing and brand wizard, and has been with Honeycomb since 2018 as the company’s third employee. Beyond building up Honeycomb’s brand into what it is today, Sophia is also an excellent mentor and works closely with the Honeycomb internship program. In addition to her marketing expertise working with us, Sophia is also a commissioner on the Seattle Arts commission and a Venture for America fellow.
In 2021, Sophia was also awarded the Athena Young Leader’s award from the Pittsburgh Technology Council. This award is given to young professional women who make an impact in the community, show excellence in their field, and mentor other young women.
While we’re ecstatic about Sophia being recognized for the 30 under 30, she’s not the only person in the Honeycomb network to have won the award. Felipe Crespo, owner of Honeycomb alumni small business Secretos de Mis Abuelos, was also recognized. Secretos de Mis Abuelos is Pittsburgh’s first (and only) Puerto Rican food truck, and recently ran a Honeycomb campaign to help them open their first restaurant storefront!
We’re so proud of Sophia’s achievements, and can’t wait to see what’s next for her!

Really inspiring achievement-recognition like Sophia Fang’s shows how strong leadership in marketing is not just about branding, but about building real impact through community engagement, storytelling, and supporting small businesses that drive local economies; what stands out is how marketing success at that level requires coordinating multiple priorities-strategy, communication, campaigns, and community initiatives-while staying aligned with a clear long-term vision, and it also highlights how managing different initiatives and resources at the same time requires structured decision-making, which is very similar to how complex systems are handled in other environments, something well reflected in https://www.epicflow.com/blog/value-based-portfolio-management/ , where structured approaches help prioritize the most valuable initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and ensure strategic alignment across all activities.
Huge congratulations to Sophia Fang on being named a Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30 honoree — it’s inspiring to see young leaders recognized for their innovation, impact, and commitment to growth. Achievements like this don’t happen by accident; they reflect strategic thinking, prioritization, and the ability to focus on what truly moves the needle. That same emphasis on thoughtful planning also shows up in how organizations work behind the scenes — with great strategic portfolio management tools , teams can evaluate competing initiatives, align resources with goals, and make sure their efforts are driving meaningful results. Whether it’s individual leadership or organizational performance, having a clear strategy and the right tools makes all the difference.
The blog’s section on real-time patient data is very informative. It highlights key challenges in RPM. We also offer patient monitoring software development services in Riyadh. Excited to see more insights like this.
Understanding forensic engineering can help professionals investigate accidents and structural issues more effectively. It provides insights that support better planning and risk management. Some learners researching this subject come across the College of Contract Management along the way.
